Look, it’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, and the Green Movement is in full swing, and, you know what? Baltimore is leading the way! (The reasons to be proud to call Charm City home just keep coming, don’t they?).

So, anyone can drink too much green beer – been there, done that, right? And you can bake cupcakes for your cube-mates and decorate them with green icing (THAT’S original).

OR…you can log onto Google’s Open Green Map, and check out a VERY cool interactive map that pinpoints many, many green- and ecologically related places to go and things to do in B’more! Trailheads and gardens and streams to ford all are labeled. Restaurants and museums have their own color-coded icons, as well mass transit stops. Point is, there’s a ton of things in Baltimore that just sit there waiting for you to happen by and take advantage of. In addition to professional sports (Spring Training’s in the air!) and theater and concerts, and such.
